Writing in English in an academic environment tends to pose a challenge for English language learners. This is mainly because academic systems in other cultures do not emphasize writing as much as the American higher education system does. And when students do write, the structure and language that they are used to is different than the American style.

第十一天了哦～虽然很晚了，但说到做到，完成以后再睡觉。小朋友也要说话算话哦。

今天一早，小明听到爸爸讲的故事就非常开心。一整天听了好多遍。看着幼儿园的其他小朋友都在讲故事，让他对今天的故事非常期待。今天又有新故事了。叫做《一无所获的猴子》。其他的小朋友们，大家来一起分享这个有趣的故事吧。

While writing an application letter, you must make it clear what you are applying for. If you are applying for a job opening, state it specifically.

今天下午在给小朋友讲了一遍故事后，我就一直上课到晚上九点半。在我上课的时候，我隐约听见小明在一边洗漱一边向爷爷奶奶讲述起今天讲的新故事。虽然故事细节不太清楚，但在只听一遍的情况下自愿说给别人听，这也算是一个不小的进步。加油！

Most people learn over time, but often learning comes too late tobe fully useful. There are certainly many things that I know nowthat would have been extremely useful to me earlier in my life; things that could have saved me from many of the mistakes and hurtsI suffered over the years—and most of those that I inflicted on others too.

今天的故事里有青蛙、大公鸡、小花猫、花喜鹊、小花狗和大肥猪，人物较多。故事稍长一些，请欣赏。

今天有位妈妈告诉我，六天了，她五岁的孩子每天都会问今天那个叔叔讲了什么故事！哈哈哈，叔叔每天要很晚才能编辑当天的新故事，还是美美睡一觉后明早听吧。

前阵子追美剧“绿箭侠”，模仿片头做了一个配音。

今天我和朋友一同去喝咖啡，waitress见我说英文也用英文问我要点些什么。最后我点了a grande vanilla latte。想起以前有学生不清楚杯子大小的说法。Starbucks的饮品一般分为Tall, Grande, Venti。There isn’t a short, as far as I know. It’s just tall, grande, and venti.

最近，美国佛罗里达州一个9岁的萝莉很火。她叫悉尼-斯穆特，因为反对佛罗里达州标准化考试(FSA)而在当地的教育委员会成员面前发表了一个酷炫的演讲，逻辑清晰且极富感染力。
